Ping Chen

Ping Chen, born in September 1983, is currently working at North University of China as a professor, specializing in detection and imaging, and electronic information.

 

Introduction

Undergraduate and Ph.D. from North University of China, post-doctoral fellow at Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. National Excellent Youth, Representative of the "Top Ten" of China Association for Science and Technology, Young Top-notch Talents in Shanxi Province, and Sanjin Talents in Shanxi Province. He is the editorial board member of the journal "Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging", the vice chairman of the National University Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Innovation Alliance, and a member of the CT Theory and Application Research Branch of the Chinese Society of Stereology. In recent years, he has presided over more than 20 projects of the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has written 2 academic books, published 85 academic papers, of which 60 were included in SCI/EI, and authorized 14 national invention patents. The research results have been applied in the quality control of national key projects such as special equipment, type weapons, and Chang'e-4, with obvious social and economic benefits. He has won 1 first prize of Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 second prize of Shanxi Provincial Technology Invention Award, and 1 Youth Science and Technology Award of Chinese Society of Stereology.
